Most expensive resorts all over the world are using inexpensive outdoor furniture for their patio spaces and pool areas. But of course, the style and comfort always go with it. It’s very cost effective and at the same time not compromising the comfort and style, thus protecting the image of the resort. At the other end are high style resorts that purchase expensive and very fancy furniture for their pool decks and common areas. Most often, this type of furniture is not appropriate for the typical homeowner, because of its delicate nature, very high maintenance, very costly and sometimes, safety issue.

You will need to take the comfort of the furniture into consideration. Unlike regular old patio furniture, you will likely be lounging on your pool furniture only partially dressed. Depending on where you live, you will probably be using your pool furniture only part of the year. It is important to choose furniture that will not get blown away during a summer storm. You will also want furniture that is light enough to be moved around and stored during the off seasons. Keep in mind the amount of storage space you have. You may need to purchase stackable furniture that does not take up a lot of storage space. Basically, you can start looking at your local furniture shops. Most of them have commercial pool furniture, maybe not in display but surely they have stocks of it.
